On Saturday the 3rd November, our Blessington Head Office in Seven Hills was destroyed by a fire. Singer Sewing Machines and our Appliance range were located on this site.
The fire originated in a neighbouring building, and although it has devastated our Seven Hills office, no staff were harmed.
Husqvarna Viking, PFAFF, Handi Quilter, AccuQuilt, Ricoma and Superior Threads stock were located in our Gosford Warehouse at the time of the fire and have not been affected.
The biggest loss to our company was the Pink Quilts, the Pink Project Wall Hangings, personal belongings to our staff, and some historical pieces from our Singer collection, including a 201K and some treadle machines. These items are not necessary for our business to continue functioning, but they do make up the heart and soul of our business.
When you suffer a great loss, there are always heart-warming moments that re-assure your faith in humanity, and we must thank several people for coming to our aid in our time of need.
